What Is Full Mouth Implant Treatment?

Full mouth dental implants in Turkey replace all teeth in the upper and/or lower jaws using implant-supported fixed bridges, completed in two visits over 3–6 months. Rather than placing one implant per missing tooth, modern full mouth restoration uses a small number of strategically positioned titanium implants to support a complete fixed bridge — eliminating the limitations of dentures while delivering decades of natural function.

Full mouth treatment is one of the most transformative procedures in modern dentistry. Whether you have lost your teeth through decay, periodontal disease, or injury — or are struggling with failing, loose, or ill-fitting dentures — a complete implant-supported restoration gives you back a fully functional, natural-looking smile that lasts for decades.

At Dentgroup International, we specialise in full mouth restoration for international patients. Our clinical team is experienced in the most complex cases — including those involving significant bone loss, multiple failing teeth, or denture conversion — and we work with a fully digital, high-technology workflow: 3Shape intraoral scanning, photogrammetry, and guided implant surgery. We offer three main treatment methods under one roof; we provide all-inclusive packages that cover everything from your hotel stay to your end-of-life care.

Three Approaches to Full Mouth Restoration

Full mouth implant treatment uses one of three approaches, depending on your bone structure, the number of teeth remaining, and your clinical goals. During your free online consultation, our team reviews your existing X-rays — or arranges a 3D CBCT scan on arrival — to determine the most appropriate option for your specific situation.

TreatmentImplants per JawBest For
All-on-44 implantsPatients with reduced bone density, cost-conscious cases, fastest recovery
All-on-66 implantsPatients with good bone density, maximum stability, longest prosthetic lifespan
Mixed implants & bridge1 per tooth or implant-retained bridgePatients with some healthy natural teeth remaining

All-on-4 — The Most Versatile Option

All-on-4 supports a full arch of teeth on four titanium implants per jaw. The two posterior implants are angled at up to 45° to engage denser native bone, often eliminating the need for grafting. This is the preferred option for patients with moderate-to-significant bone loss and remains an excellent, well-documented protocol with long-term clinical success. Read more about All-on-4 →

All-on-6 — Maximum Stability

All-on-6 distributes the bridge across six implants, providing superior bite strength and a longer prosthetic lifespan. It is recommended for patients with good bone density, stronger bite force, or those treating the upper jaw — where bone density is naturally lower and additional implants improve long-term success rates. Read more about All-on-6 →

Mixed Individual Implants & Bridges

For patients who still have some healthy natural teeth, a combination of single implants and implant-supported bridges may preserve the existing dentition while replacing only what needs replacing. This approach is highly individualised and is determined after detailed CBCT analysis.

Who Is Full Mouth Treatment For?

You are likely a candidate for full mouth implants if you have lost most or all of your teeth, are struggling with loose dentures, or have multiple failing teeth that cannot be saved. Treatment is suitable for a broad range of patients — including those with significant bone loss, where additional procedures or specialist protocols can address most cases.

You may be a strong candidate if you:

Have lost all or most of your teeth in one or both jaws
Have multiple failing, heavily decayed, or broken teeth that cannot be saved
Currently wear complete or partial dentures that are unstable or uncomfortable
Have been told you are not suitable for conventional implants due to bone loss
Have experienced significant jawbone deterioration and need a grafting assessment
Want a permanent, fixed solution rather than removable appliances
Are in generally good health and committed to consistent daily aftercare

Additional medical assessment is required if you have:

Uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1c above 7%), active head or neck cancer treatment, severe osteoporosis (especially on intravenous bisphosphonates), uncontrolled periodontal disease, or are a heavy smoker. These conditions do not automatically rule out treatment, but our clinical team reviews your full medical history before confirming any plan.

A free online assessment can confirm your suitability and recommend the most appropriate treatment approach (All-on-4, All-on-6, or mixed) before you travel. Send us your existing panoramic X-ray or a recent dental photograph, and we will provide a personalised treatment plan within 48 hours — with no obligation.

Step by Step: Your Treatment Journey

Full mouth implant treatment in Turkey is completed across two visits, separated by a 3–6 month healing period at home. Your first visit is 4 full clinical days, covering planning, surgery (including any needed extractions), and same-day temporary teeth. Your second visit, three to six months later, is 5–6 full clinical days to fit your permanent bridge. You return to the UK with fixed teeth after the first visit and resume normal daily life during the healing period.

Visit 1 — Planning, Surgery & Temporary Teeth (4 Days)
DAY 1
Arrival, Consultation & 3D CBCT Scan
Return flights from the UK, VIP airport transfer, and 4★ partner hotel accommodation are all included in your package. You meet your dedicated English-speaking coordinator, then attend the clinic for a full clinical examination, medical history review, and a 3D cone beam CT scan plus 3Shape intraoral scan to assess bone volume, density, and anatomy. Your treatment approach (All-on-4, All-on-6, or mixed) is confirmed and your personalised plan finalised.
DAY 2
Extractions, Guided Implant Surgery & Same-Day Teeth
Surgery is performed under local anaesthesia. IV sedation is available, and general anaesthesia is also available on request (provided in a partner accredited surgical facility). Any remaining teeth requiring removal are extracted in the same session. Implants are placed using a digital surgical guide and photogrammetry for maximum precision — both jaws can be treated simultaneously. A temporary fixed bridge is attached the same day, so you leave the clinic with a full set of functional teeth.
DAY 3
Post-Operative Review & Recovery
Soft-tissue review and oral hygiene briefing with daily aftercare support from our team. Rest at your hotel while the surgical site settles. Most UK patients are comfortable and mobile within 24–48 hours of surgery.
DAY 4
Final Check & Departure
Pre-departure post-operative review. You receive your written aftercare pack, prescribed medication, and provisional implant passport. VIP transfer to Antalya International Airport for your return flight to the UK.
Healing Period — 3–6 Months at Home

During this period your implants integrate with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration. Your temporary teeth remain in place, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile normally. Our clinical team stays in regular contact via WhatsApp and video call, with optional remote check-ins to confirm healing is on track. You will return to Antalya for Visit 2 once full integration is confirmed.

Visit 2 — Permanent Restoration (3–6 Months Later, 5–6 Days)
DAY 1
Arrival & Digital Impressions
Airport transfer, hotel check-in, and same-day clinic visit. Digital 3Shape intraoral scans and impressions are taken to begin fabrication of your permanent bridge.
DAYS 2–3
Bridge Fabrication
Your permanent zirconia or hybrid bridge is custom-milled in our on-site CAD/CAM laboratory. Tighter quality control and faster turnaround than off-site lab work.
DAY 4
Trial Fitting
Trial fitting to verify fit, bite, phonetics, colour, and aesthetics. Adjustments made before final cementation. Your input on shade and shape is welcomed.
DAY 5
Final Bridge Fitted
Your permanent bridge is fixed using screw retention or cementation. Bite verification and occlusal adjustment. Your full smile restoration is complete.
DAY 6
Aftercare Briefing & Departure
Comprehensive long-term aftercare briefing. You receive your final implant passport, a water flosser, and your written guarantee documentation. A small buffer day is built in to allow any final adjustment before your VIP transfer to the airport.

A Fully Digital, High-Technology Clinic

Every full mouth case at Dentgroup International is planned and delivered through a fully digital workflow. We combine 3Shape intraoral scanning, intraoral photogrammetry, and computer-guided (surgical guide) implant placement — the same technologies used in the most advanced implant centres worldwide — to achieve precise implant positioning, an accurate passive fit, and predictable, repeatable results.

3D SCANNING 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner used at Dentgroup International for digital dental impressions
3Shape Intraoral Scanner
A handheld 3Shape scanner captures a high-resolution, full-colour 3D digital impression of your mouth in minutes — no messy putty trays. The data feeds directly into our implant planning and CAD/CAM design, improving fit, comfort, and the final aesthetics of your bridge.
Digital impressions, no putty
PRECISION Intraoral photogrammetry device used at Dentgroup International for precise full-arch implant positioning
Photogrammetry
For full-arch cases, photogrammetry records the exact 3D position of every implant with micron-level accuracy. By measuring implants directly rather than stitching scan data, it eliminates the cumulative errors common in full-mouth work — the key to a truly passive, long-lasting bridge fit.
Micron-level implant accuracy
GUIDED SURGERY Computer-guided surgical guide used at Dentgroup International for accurate implant placement
Surgical Guide (Guided Surgery)
Your CBCT and digital scans are merged in planning software to design a custom surgical guide. This 3D-printed guide directs each implant to the exact pre-planned position, angle, and depth — making surgery more precise, more predictable, and gentler on the surrounding tissue.
Pre-planned, precise placement
One connected digital workflow. Scan, plan, place, and design all flow through the same digital pipeline — meaning fewer appointments, fewer remakes, and a final result that matches the plan you approved before surgery.

Full Mouth Implant Cost: Turkey vs UK

Full mouth implant treatment at Dentgroup International is priced per implant — Osstem £310, Medentika £345, and Straumann £650 — with the total package depending on the treatment approach (All-on-4, All-on-6, or mixed) and number of jaws treated. UK private practice typically charges £20,000–£38,000 for equivalent full mouth restoration, often requiring multi-year finance arrangements. Our all-inclusive packages cover hotel accommodation, and VIP transfers.

Implant Brands & Per-Implant Pricing

Our full mouth treatment supports three CE-marked implant systems, each priced per implant. The number of implants required depends on the treatment approach: All-on-4 uses 4 per jaw, All-on-6 uses 6 per jaw, and mixed solutions are individualised.

Frequently Asked Questions

Full mouth implant treatment in Turkey takes two visits, separated by a 3–6 month healing period at home. Your first visit is 4 full clinical days, covering surgery, any required extractions, and same-day temporary teeth. Your second visit is 5–6 full clinical days, three to six months later, for fitting your permanent restoration. You return to the UK with fixed teeth after the first visit and resume normal daily life during the healing period.
No — you will never be without teeth during full mouth treatment. A temporary fixed bridge is attached to your implants on the same day as surgery, so you leave the clinic with a full set of functional teeth. The temporary bridge stays in place throughout the 3–6 month healing period until your permanent restoration is fitted at the second visit.
Yes. Most full mouth treatment is performed comfortably under local anaesthesia. For anxious patients or longer surgical sessions, IV sedation is available, and general anaesthesia is also available on request, delivered in a partner accredited surgical facility with a dedicated anaesthetist. Your coordinator will discuss the most suitable and safest option for you during planning, before you travel.
Full mouth implant surgery in Turkey is safe when performed at an accredited clinic with EU-standard sterilisation, CE-marked implants, and traceable clinical documentation. Dentgroup International is registered with the Turkish Ministry of Health and the Turkish Dental Association (TDB), uses ISO 9001:2015 quality management protocols, a fully digital workflow (3Shape scanning, photogrammetry, guided surgery), and Class-B autoclave sterilisation throughout. Every patient receives a full implant passport so any UK dentist can identify and service the components.
In most cases, yes — full mouth restoration is achievable even with significant bone loss. All-on-4 is specifically designed to work with reduced bone density through angled implant placement, often eliminating the need for grafting. Where bone loss is more significant, additional procedures such as a bone graft or sinus lift may be performed in the same surgical session. Any grafting requirement is identified during your CBCT scan review and included in your treatment plan.
Titanium dental implants used in full mouth restoration have documented survival rates above 95% at 10 years (Moraschini et al., 2015) and are designed to last a lifetime with proper care. The permanent prosthetic bridge typically lasts 10–15 years before any renewal is needed, depending on material and bite forces. Daily water flossing, no smoking, and 6-monthly check-ups are the strongest predictors of long-term success.
Full mouth implants are fixed, permanently anchored to the jawbone, and feel like natural teeth — dentures are removable, sit on the gum, and can move during eating or speaking. Implants also preserve jawbone (preventing the “sunken face” appearance common with long-term denture wear), allow you to eat any food without restriction, and do not require adhesives or overnight removal.
Dental implants are not provided on the NHS for routine cases in adults, except in very specific circumstances such as cleft palate or post-cancer reconstruction. Most UK private health insurance policies also exclude routine implant treatment. This is why most UK patients self-fund full mouth treatment in Turkey — the savings make it accessible without long-term finance.
Yes — any qualified UK implantologist can maintain implants placed at Dentgroup International. We use globally serviced, CE-marked implant systems (Straumann, Medentika, Osstem) and supply a detailed implant passport listing the brand, model, batch number, and torque specifications of every implant. Your UK dentist can perform routine check-ups, repairs, and screw access using standard implant tools.
